Marcus founded the company in 2021 - from a belief that social media could revolutionise brands. He’s built the business from a one-person operation to a fully-fledged agency working with some of NZ’s most talented creators and brands. He still actively manages key accounts and new strategy consultations while building the Sapiens team and business. He’s also got a great head of hair.

Sapwe is the engine room for our brand department - responsible for achieving our clients’ goals, coordinating our team of creatives , and always being across performance. Reliable, structured, and always across the detail, she’s a videographer and content creator by trade, and has grown from a part time hire to a key team member at Sapiens.

MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER

Mitch is our resident editorial expert - and manages our growing suite of media clients. He joined us after working as the Head of Social and Search at the NZ Herald for close to a decade - and he combines platform expertise with a journalist's nose for what makes a story worth telling. 

MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER

Pei is a multimedia designer and creative strategist with a background across branding, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, web design and video editing. She brings both visual instinct and creative direction to every campaign, turning ideas into assets that work hard across platforms.

VIDEO EDITOR

Jay shapes raw footage into compelling narratives, bringing pace, personality, and polish to every piece of video content. A productivity machine, Jay’s earned his nickname ‘The Weapon’ by never missing a deadline, and always delivering top-shelf content. Hailing from Gore, he also has an incredible singing voice.

MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER

Queenie combines technical precision with a creative instinct for storytelling, delivering video and digital content that captures attention and drives engagement. Whether it’s a podcast trailer, a YouTube thumbnail, or a LinkedIn PDF Carousel, Queenie’s keen eye for visual design never fails.

DIGITAL CONTENT STRATEGIST

Katie is a digital content strategist with a sharp understanding of platforms, audiences and what makes content perform. Always on the pulse of what’s trending on social media, she takes the bigger picture thinking and turns it into clear, actionable strategy that keeps brands relevant and growing online.

With an incredible background in film, television and advertising, Felix brings a dynamic editing style and a keen sense of rhythm to the team, turning concepts into scroll-stopping video content - and taking our ideas into execution on videography and content shoots with clients, across different industries.
